  • On September 14, 2007, the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools adopted the attached policy outlining the Civil Penalties for Fingerprinting Violations in accordance with A.R.S. 15-185.  The law took effect September 19, 2007.  Please read the attached policy and share it will all of your staff to ensure compliance with fingerprinting requirements. 
  • In a continued effort to support the field in the implementation of the social studies and science standards, the Arizona Department of Education would like to announce the completion of their Content-Rich Support Materials for Social Studies and Science for Grades 6-8. These support materials are now available on the IDEAL website at http://www.ideal.azed.gov/node.
