Quality Standards
The purpose of charter schools is to create a learning environment that will improve student achievement. It is imperative that schools strive for quality in every aspect of its operations. The Association has created the Quality Standards to serve as a guide for schools in creating and maintaining quality educational institutions that are sustainable and meet the goal of improving student achievement. Furthermore, meeting or exceeding these standards will prepare a school for rigourous criteria established for accreditation, grant opportunities, facility financing, and charter renewal.
The Quality Standards focus on four integral components of a successful school:
- Academic Standards and Continuous Improvement
- Governance Standard
- Ethical Leadership
- Business/Financial Practices
