9. Please share what your priorities will be as a state lawmaker to strengthen Arizona’s workforce and economy so that all Arizonans have better opportunities to move up the economic ladder? I support keeping our taxes low eliminating over burdensome regulations. This will help entrepreneurs open businesses and make it easier for existing businesses to operate as well as out-of-state businesses to move to Arizona. the more businesses we have operating in Arizona the more jobs that are available to Arizonans. We need to ensure the students in Arizona get the best available education so that they can qualify for high paying jobs. Companies are more likely to relocate to Arizona if we have a well-educated workforce.
10. School districts and charter schools are public schools; do you support equitable funding for all public school students?Yes
11. Do you support tax reform?Yes
12. What are your ideas for tax reform that would improve our state's economy?I would like to eliminate Arizona's income tax and replace with a flat tax on goods sold. There would be a tax rebate on the 1st predetermined amount a taxes paid so that low-income individuals or families wouldn't pay a lot of their income. A flat sales tax would ensure that everyone has a stake in the game. All monies spent over the predetermined amount would be taxed whether it was earned legally, illegally or under the table.
13. Do you support efforts to reform Arizona’s regulatory boards and commissions?Yes
14. What is the greatest challenge facing Arizona today? Getting our economy back on track and improving our education system.
