Carhuff & Cueva Architects was founded in 1993 by Philip A. Carhuff. CCA offers a wide variety of full architectural and engineering services. For the last eighteen years CCA has dedicated itself to satisfying clients in the educational, commercial, and residential fields often with demanding budgets and schedules. We have grown to be a State and local leader in producing cost effective and attractive educational facilities through our design leadership and ability to manage budgets and schedules. We are also accomplished construction contract managers and have proven our talent in that crucial phase by repeatedly limiting or negotiating change orders within 1% to 5% of original contract sums. We detailed in-house project estimates during design for the last dozen years have met every bid price within 3-5% with the bid. In 2011, CCA delivered seven Charter School projects on time and on budget, four being ground up buildings and the other three remodels of existing buildings. CCA also delivered its latest school projects in every corner of the State of Arizona in Tucson, Sierra Vista, Casa Grande, Phoenix, Flagstaff and Lake Havasu City. We are very effective in maintaining excellent communication and relations between the Owner, Contractor and Design Team which translates into successfully completed projects with no claims. Educational facility design is a TEAM approach and every member of the team has the responsibility for the success of any project.
