Masada Charter School Earns Prestigious Honor for a Second Time

The Arizona Charter Schools Association applauds Masada Charter School, of Centennial Park in Mohave County, for being named a National Blue Ribbon School. It is the second time Masada has earned the coveted honor from the U.S. Department of Education.
Masada is among six Arizona schools and 297 schools nationwide to receive the National Blue Ribbon in 2022.

“To be named a National Blue Ribbon School is a tremendous honor for Masada Charter School,” said Jake Logan, President & CEO of the Arizona Charter Schools Association. “We are tremendously proud of each of the students, teachers and administrators at Masada for this well-earned achievement. Keep up the great work!”

National Blue Ribbon Schools are named according to student performance on assessment tests and graduation rates. Honorees must either be among their state’s highest-performing schools or exhibit improvement strength by closing achievement
gaps.

“We are thrilled to be chosen as recipients of the National Blue Ribbon School Award for 2022,” said Leanne Timpson, Masada School administrator. “As an organization, we have worked tirelessly to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic while sustaining student achievement and well-being. This award validates our processes and efforts. We are grateful for the high level of commitment and dedication exhibited by our staff throughout these challenging times and the level of support we receive from our Board, our parents, and our community.”
